My work as a trial lawyer concentrated in the defense of people being sued for motor vehicle and property claims. It also included medical malpractice, products liability, including asbestos claims, and workers’ compensation. After gaining additional trial experience representing injured people I opened my own law office in South Hills.

My background as a trial attorney helps me to evaluate my clients’ general legal needs. From a trial attorney perspective, how might a case appear to a jury? I provide services on a flat-fee basis. The reason for flat-fees is so our clients feel comfortable taking the time to tell us their wishes and concerns. A flat fee lessens nervousness or anxiety about the “clock ticking” during the consultation.

We typically handle the following matters on a flat-fee basis:

Simple Will for an Individual

$325.00

Normally this involves one or two consultations: the initial meeting to discuss your wishes and concerns, gather information, and perhaps prepare the document and sign it. If necessary, we will hold a second meeting to review the drafted will and sign the document.

Complete Estate Package for an Individual

$395.00

An Estate Package includes a Will, Durable Power of Attorney, and Living Will, and normally involves two meetings – one to gather information and answer questions, and a second meeting to review and sign the documents.

Husband and Wife Complete Estate Packages

$595.00

This includes Wills, Durable Power of Attorneys, and Living Wills for each spouse, and normally requires two meetings.

The Purpose of Complete Estate Packages

Complete Estate Packages include Wills, Durable Power of Attorney, and Living Will documents. These make it easier for you to take care of your spouse and make it easier for your spouse. Such documents permit your spouse, children, family, or other caregivers to provide care and handle your affairs.

My office strongly recommends complete estate packages because we care about our clients and want to ensure protection. While we hope you never need them, your Durable Power of Attorney and Living Will are important papers. These provide everything you need in the event of illness or incapacity. Document preparation enables your family or other caregiver to assist you in the event that you cannot care for yourself.
